Riverview Health adds plastic surgery service line and welcomes new surgeon

Riverview Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Joshua Tieman and Riverview Health Physicians Plastic Surgery in Westfield. Dr. Tieman will assist Dr. Sam Heiser at Hamilton Surgical Associates with performing breast reconstruction surgery immediately following mastectomies. In addition to that, he will also perform many different elective procedures.

As an artist, Joshua Tieman, MD, knew plastic surgery was his calling when he began medical school. Dr. Tieman’s goal with every procedure is to combine his abilities with the patient’s vision to deliver the results they desire. Whether a patient is seeking restoration of their body after cancer, childbirth, weight loss, traumatic injuries or simply wants to enhance their natural beauty—Dr. Tieman is here to help.

Dr. Tieman completed his fellowship training in plastic surgery at the University of Utah, where he worked with some of the best surgeons in the Mountain West region, including internationally renowned surgeons. This experience has put Dr. Tieman on the cutting edge of breast reconstruction, a service he is excited to offer women at his practice.
