NOBLESVILLE, IN — Riverview Health Foundation hosted the Gratitude Gala, a black-tie event, on Friday, November 1, 2024, to benefit the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Riverview Health. Over 300 attendees enjoyed an evening featuring casino games, a bourbon pull, a dessert dash, and a silent and live auction. With the support of their presenting sponsor, Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM), additional sponsors and generous attendees, the event raised over $385,000 to support patients at Riverview Health.
The current Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, while staffed by an incredibly dedicated and skilled team, falls short of providing the optimal healing environment the community and our patients deserve. “Riverview Health Foundation is grateful to have generous donors who are supporting this important project at Riverview Health,” stated Megan Wiles, Vice President, Foundation and Community Affairs for Riverview Health. “The Gratitude Gala is a celebration of the connection between gratitude and philanthropy and how people can connect and contribute to help others. We couldn't have had such a successful night without the support of our sponsors and the attendees at the event. Their gifts will certainly help towards the overall fundraising goal for the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit project, and opportunities exist for others to contribute to the project.”
The expansion and renovation will include modernized patient rooms designed for comfort and accessibility, expanded therapy areas equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology, improved communal spaces for patients and their families, and enhanced facilities for our dedicated staff to support their ongoing professional development and well-being.
“The continuation of monetary gifts provided to Riverview Health Foundation is critical to the future of Riverview Health,” said Dave Hyatt, President and CEO of Riverview Health. “Your generosity enables us to maintain and expand the level of care we provide, ensuring that our facility can meet the evolving needs of our community. You’re not just supporting healthcare infrastructure—you’re directly improving the lives of countless patients and their families.”
