December 29, 2015

Noblesville—Riverview Health today announced that long-time President and CEO, Pat Fox, will retire in May 2016. Ms. Fox’s retirement is the capstone to a 45-year career serving the healthcare needs of people and their families across Illinois and Indiana.

“Pat Fox has had a tremendous impact on Riverview Health, courageously leading us through many transitions in healthcare over the last two decades,” said Greg Murray, Riverview Health Board of Trustees Chairman. “We’re thankful for her countless contributions to our organization and we’re proud of her distinguished tenure as president and CEO.”

“The highlight of my career has been serving the people of Hamilton County and working alongside so many talented healthcare professionals,” said Fox. “Together, we have transformed healthcare in Indiana. The time has now come for me to pass the torch to the next generation of leaders and enjoy watching this organization continue to flourish.”

An external search is underway for Ms. Fox’s successor, and a 6-person selection committee has been formed to help ensure a smooth transition. Between now and her retirement, Ms. Fox will continue to lead current initiatives, including the implementation of an integrated IT system, the completion of two medical office buildings in Westfield and Noblesville, and the renovation of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at the hospital.
