Riverview Health Auxiliary will host its annual holiday fundraiser, Santa’s Sweet Shoppe, on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Riverview Health from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers can enter through the visitor entrance (entrance 9). The community is invited to come check out the homemade crafts and bake sale items, as well as other gift items for the holidays.
Riverview Health Auxiliary has had a holiday sale at Riverview Health over the past 34 years, which has become a great community event.
“Riverview Health Auxiliary is celebrating its 50th anniversary supporting Riverview Health,” said Jana Manlove, Riverview Health Auxiliary Board president. “Various fundraisers held throughout the year, as well as profits from our gift shop at Riverview Health, have allowed us to make substantial monetary contributions supporting patients of Riverview and their families.”
“Our current two-year pledge is $50,000, which will sponsor the waiting area of a new, more patient- and family-friendly Infusion Center. Profits from our fundraisers and the gift shop at Riverview Health this year and next will be dedicated directly to this pledge.”
Riverview Health Auxiliary has donated more than $1,000,000 to Riverview Health to support projects such as a new MRI and heated chemotherapy chairs in the Infusion Center.
