Riverview Health Auxiliary has pledged to raise and donate $50,000 to the new Infusion Center project at Riverview Health.
Riverview Health Auxiliary is a group of volunteers that leads the charge on various fundraisers held throughout the year and raises money to support patients of Riverview Health and their families. In addition, profits from the Riverview Health Gift Shop, which is operated by volunteers, also go toward the fundraising efforts of the Auxiliary.
“Not many people think to visit the hospital to go shopping, but high-fashion clothing and accessories can be found at the Gift Shop, which has helped our sales to increase significantly over the past year,” said Jessica Deering, volunteer and event manager at Riverview Health Foundation. “Shoppers can buy trendy items while improving patient care through Riverview Health Auxiliary, which is a real win-win.”
Riverview Health Gift Shop will be offering a 20 percent discount on one clothing item during the entire month of April. The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guest can enter through entrance 1.
