“We typically present these grants at the annual Women of Vision of Luncheon where the theme is all about inspiring and empowering both women and men,” said Megan Wiles, executive director of Riverview Health Foundation. “Due to the Coronavirus we’ve had to switch things up a little and make it a virtual event, but we have every intention to make it just as impactful this year using a slightly different format.”
Riverview Health Foundation will hold the virtual event Lunch at your Place with Minda Dentler on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 12-1 p.m. As the first female wheelchair athlete to complete the Ironman World Championship after being paralyzed from the hips down by polio, Minda will share her amazing journey to accomplishing what she was told would be impossible.
