Riverview Health Helps Community Members Navigate Healthcare Coverage

Riverview Health is making it easy for members of the community to gain access to information regarding insurance options available under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Open Enrollment.

Terry West, Indiana Certified Navigator, is available throughout the year at Riverview Health to answer general questions about coverage, provide information about costs and assist with applications during ACA Open Enrollment.

“In order to best serve our community, it’s important that we help educate community members on health insurance so they’re able to make the best choices for themselves and their loved ones,” says Pat Fox, Riverview Health CEO.

ACA Open Enrollment began on November 15, 2014, and ends February 15, 2015. During the enrollment period, you may enroll in a health insurance plan or switch from your current plan to a new plan using the government’s Health Insurance Marketplace.

“We understand that health insurance can be complex, which is why we encourage everyone in the community to be proactive in learning more about it,” mentions Fox. “We also want to make access to this information easy. Our certified navigator at Riverview Health is a great resource for individuals and families who need assistance with the application and enrollment process.”
